TRIPS
Here I have some pictures of my trips
1998 - Salta, Argentina
This was when I went to see Petra, but since it didn't work out, I spent my time hiking with my friend Monica

We found this church in our way to a river in Cammpo Quijano

And this is the river. I just had my feet wet, since it wasn't deep.
1999 - La Paz, Bolivia
I went to a conference to see Juan Salinas, who translated Petra Praise in Spanish and we had "Petra en Alabanza"

It was August 6th, Bolivia's Independence day. This is the Main Square "Pedro Domingo Murillo" and those people went to attend the parade.

Believe me, behind us, in the background there was a beautiful always-snowed mountain called "Illimani". Unfortunately it was cloudy and since the mountain it was full of snow... it didn't show up in the picture. :(

Can you believe this? I don't remember the name of this place!!! I just remember that is a beautiful park where brides and grooms come after their wedding to have pictures taken.

These are "los Colorados de Bolivia". These soldiers use the same uniform as in 1925, when our nation was born. Every morning and evening the rise these flags. Bolivia's flag is red, yellow and green.

And this is a "monolito". It's a monument from the Tiahuanacota culture. They existed before the Aymaras and Incas, so don't get confused. This monolito has its partner in Tiahuanacu's Ruins. There is a saying that they cry. I don't know why but sometimes there are drops of water in their heads, and people say they are crying because they are separated. In my opinion, they should be together!!!
MORE PICTURES WILL BE AVAILABLE VERY SOON!!!
